I find myself frequently wishing for the future to happen. In those times I miss the once future, now the present. A dear friend of mine shared these few lines with me from the book Calm My Anxious Heart by Linda Dillow. Rocked my world.
1. Never allow myself to complain about anything – not even the weather
2. Never picture myself in any other circumstances or some place else
3. Never compare my life with another
4. Never allow myself to wish this or that had been otherwise
5. Never dwell on tomorrow – remember that tomorrow is God’s, not ours
